bhurt
Its kool that there is an intergraded system, but why not just buy some cheaters and cut your sink tips to the corresponding sizes? Right now I have a 2 foot and a 5 foot floater and I have my tips cut so in the end the sink tip and floater is only 10 feet, only cost roughly about $30 and I have two set ups, probably alot cheaper. I can see where the benifit of having the intergraded line but you don't have any of the loop to loop connections inside the rod guides so not really a issuse. Probably alot more to these rio products then I can see such as taper of the floater to sink tip, etc.... but I dunno I much rather make mine to what I like and save some money, but its diffently a cool thing. cheeler
Some reading for those of us at work: http://www.caddisflyshop.com/rio-skagit-mow-tips.html If you did your own you could also use a slow to intermediate section above the sinker instead of a floating section. This might be more useful for some bull trout streams than on the Bow.
