headscan Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Saw the full movie at the Backcast film festival and it was pretty good. Definitely worth watching if you find a copy. Quote
kungfool Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?...896&hl=mice I make no apologies! I will leave that to Birchy! Quote
DaveJensen Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 KF - the fish killing is an NZ way. If it weren't for foreign traffic on the waters, there'd be little concern of harvest. As it is, there's some underground movements to begin restrictions on certain waters, given the knowledge of fish movement and all. IMHO, the full film "Once in a Blue Moon" is very nice with excellent footage, but left the door too open on the topic for completion by another. Quote

DaveJensen Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 that a hint of whats to come Dave? I'm sure someone out there will complete the film, there's so much more to the story. If you meant us, no. Got another few topics is mind, mind you. Certainly have the footage after this trip. Imagine 9 trout 5 to 9lbs lined up in 70m of water and landing all but one that simply smashed and missed the dry... but even at that there's a story to tell why those fish were there. Quote
Guest 420FLYFISHIN Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 the movie was good but should have had more hits and action imo Quote
