Found this two weekends ago on a tributary to the Little Red. That's my line but it's only hanging there because I had the rod wedged under my arm while I took the shot. I moved away from the spot after getting the photo. I should note that this stream was heavily impacted by cattle grazing.

Good work jpinkster. I agree with your assessment of the outcome. Steeper penalties would have been nice but this is a PR win. Would more signage help, if this is just a matter of education? Of course the limits and closures change every year, but at the very least there could be signage indicating that if you don't know the take limits - with the website URL - then take limit is zero, and that you must have knowledge of the rules for the stream in question before you fish it. That sort of thing.

Had a guy fly a drone over myself and a few other fishers near Fish Creek today. Didn't bother me but the pilot said he was worried he'd bother someone so he kept it clear(ish) of us.
