Lift tickets are only $38 this weekend so it's not THAT big of a waste of money.

The "new owner" is kind of an "old owner" , hopefully he will right a lot of the wrongs that management has done in the past few years!!!

Western is quite good( and kinda deep), just over in Cranston!

They will probably bring back Half-pennies just to be back asswards!

Thanks Guys,
That's my first underwater shot that turned out REALLY good. I've been trying them for a while.
these pics were shot with an olymus 790.
Works good so far, no leaks or malfunctions.
I dented the front panel this winter snomobiling but it hasn't affected the camera at all.
I would recomend it to anyone who wants a point and shoot camera.

Does your friend snowmobile by any chance?
The reason I ask is a guy went snowmobiling with in Fernie this winter just bought a place in Eureka.
Looks like a real nice place judging buy the pics.
His name is Brent.......same guy????

Maybe some kind of "random camping " certificate would weed out the jerks.
Slapping an extra fee on camping isn't going to deter the masses from doing as they please on a long weekend.
They could offer a course on random camping(like hunting) that you must successfuly complete in order to purchase your "annual random camping license".
Anyone caught camping without it gets nailed.
This MIGHT weed out the people who have no respect.
I know I would be willing to earn my right to use the backcountry.

I have been bringing my dog fishing since day one. She has taken to it very well. She knows the diffrence between fishing and "dog walk" so she stays out the water unless we're crossing.(which is impressive because shes a Lab)
No encounters with wildlife so far.
She usually sits right at my left side, out of the way of my cast.
If I can't find anyone to fish with, she is always ready to go.

Nice report Brett!!
Good to hear you guys had a great trip(for the most part).
Wish I could've made it but I might head down this weekend.
Last time I fished there I carried 2 rods so I didn't have to be commited to Bulls or Cutts. It made the day alot nicer because we all know Bully fishing is sometimes kinda slow. Its nice to catch 10 or 20 cutts in between bullies.
Looking forward to the video.
P.S. I gotta get a underwater camera.
Later.

I'll take a hoodie and stickers for sure, maybe more.........

I just got back from 4 days at the Elk and various tribs.
They are all fishing extremely well. Your looking at $58 for out of province licence and $20 a day for "clasified water" licence. It can get quite pricy but the cutts are big and healthy. Lotsa HUGE bulls too if your willing to do some exploring.
