  1. Thanks Greg, Ive been catching up on the report, thanks for the tip. Finally broke my dry winter spell and hooked into my first of the season day or two ago. A decent sized Whitefish :S ahh well still good to feel that pull. Was around dinner time, seems fish cooperate with a 9-5 job ;)

  2. Hey guys got into fishing mid last season and since this is my first early season I just had a quick question. I clearly had more luck towards the dusk late last season obviously there are more rises but What time of day do you find you have the most luck this time of year?

  3. While this isnt the answer you probably want to hear I suggest you listen to your parents. Don't be offended but you are only 15 and while things most likely would turn out to be completely fine, if things turn for the worst it's not worth the risk. I recommend as much as it may change the atmosphere of your adventure convince a parent or older sibling to share the trip. As I've found growing up, Arguing just makes things worse, put your maturity to its test and just have a good old chat with your parents.

    Good luck!

  4. Yep, I bought the blur fix, it's defiantly the quality choice. Ridiculously expensive though! $106 shipped. There are cheaper options and if you don't plan on using it diving you can make your own using a plastic camera hood (search YouTube can't remember the link but it's a guy from new Zealand ). I bought it since it has provisions for the anti moisture pellets which reduces if not all the condensation. Pretty cool that you can screw on 55mm filters, works great on the water with a polarizing lens!

  5. I got the go pro hd2 couple months back, with fishing in mind and while it's pretty sweet for underwater release footage you need to put a flat lens adapter on it to remove the blurry under water shots. Its great for snowboarding and anything else but photos of fish the fish eye lens effect doesn't do your catch photos any real justice. Just some food for thought before you dive into buying one.

  6. Just thought I would post on tailing fibers, since a discussion on fibbets came up on another forum. Dollarama has some good paintbrushes that have very useful bristles for $1 each, and the $5 boar's bristle shaving brushes at WalMart are great, too.

Thanks for the info! Ill be sure to grab some next time I'm in need
