  4. I also have the simms g3 waders anfd they are great, warm in the winter and fairly cool in summer, if you do alot of hiking in hot weather they can be a bit on the warm side.

    I did , My Mac dog was put down last Nov, but I have an 8 year old britt with me named Mickey, lots of fun nice fish in there.
  6. I picked up a sage launch last year on sale with a plefuger reel, works great for streamers, drys and nymphs.
  7. Im heading to Sandpoint Idaho this summer with the family, has any body flyfished near there or could direct me in the right direction?

    When flyfishing with 2 fly such as a leetch or woolly bugar, and a copper john for example would most of you fish the leetch pattern on the bottom? or vice versa? Thanks

  13. was out yesterday under the glenmore bridge with the fly rod caught a couple of small bows, but I counted at least a dozen dead ducks in the water, is this common or just so many ducks around they are just dying off.

Thanks for all the posts and info, I did end up going to the Korkers with the boa lacing, I have a dead foot on my right side after a horse accident and a bad back, and i can tell you I am very impresed with the boots, lots of support and very light, and a breeze to to tighten and take off. AL
  16. Hey guys, new to fly fishing this year,have fished the Bow a few times with little results, I am not asking for anybodys honey hole, but could some reccomend somewhere on the bow where I could maybe get into some fish, would I use Wolly buggers and nymphs? Thanks AL

  19. Hey, Bass pro shops has thier clam out post for $179, but still am on the waiting list to get one so who knows if it will come before you want it, or would you look at the Frabill pop up with approx the same dimensions but seems to have a thicker wall and its black, its $229.00 Thnaks
