  2. Thanks for all the posts and info, I did end up going to the Korkers with the boa lacing, I have a dead foot on my right side after a horse accident and a bad back, and i can tell you I am very impresed with the boots, lots of support and very light, and a breeze to to tighten and take off. AL
  3. Hey guys, new to fly fishing this year,have fished the Bow a few times with little results, I am not asking for anybodys honey hole, but could some reccomend somewhere on the bow where I could maybe get into some fish, would I use Wolly buggers and nymphs? Thanks AL

  5. I bought a cheap pair of wading boots this summer but I need to invest in some better quality boots, I need something with good ankle support, what would be some of youre recomendations, Thanks
  6. Hey, Bass pro shops has thier clam out post for $179, but still am on the waiting list to get one so who knows if it will come before you want it, or would you look at the Frabill pop up with approx the same dimensions but seems to have a thicker wall and its black, its $229.00 Thnaks

  9. I am a beginner fly guy who has river fished for years but not with a fly rod, so I bought a 6 w sage and now am hooked aftercatching a few fish and a nice rainbow.

  12. i just purchased a new 6 w sage, but am more inclined to fish the smaller streams in alberta, would you just go with the 6 w or go out and get a 4 or 5 w for the smaller streams, or do i just stay witha 6 wieght? AL
  13. The guys at the fishing hole are great, they sent in the top to be repaired and gave me a loaner.
  14. Went out Sunday to the Highwood with my brand new sage fly rod, fished for a few hours hooked some smaller trout and we decided to head up to another stretch, as we got back to the truck I decided not to break my rod apart and left it in the back of the truck drove up about 20 minutes got out and saw that my tip was boken about a foot down, not the brightest thing ive ever done, always break down the rod if youre traveling, i guess thats why they give you carrying cases and tubes. AL
