I drove to to the hat last week and left my fly reel case at home .

Most important to do ground work with him at home and in the field. Hey him to be you're buddy,have patience, put him in a leash at times for corrections,he's going to screw up but that's the best times for corrections and praise. I've got a 13 year old Brittany that goes out all the time with me since he was a pup.

Scadden has a good product but very disorganized, I ordered a electric motor mount for my X5, didn't see any thing for about 3 monthes, after numerous calls and e mails finally recieved it, then 2 weeks later another shows up? Very disorganized but sell a good product .

Live in Calgary, front double garage driveway and walk out front, so not a lot of
snow to move, looking to buy a snowblower, any suggestions? one stage or 2 stage? Got a bad back and a lazy teenage kid. -
Dad dragged me out every weekend pounding the rivers west of Calgary, never with a fly rod only 3 hooks and a coat hanger for a weight , top fly royal coachman , second hook was a stonefly harvested from the rocks and the 3rd hook was a big old dew worm, now remember this was over 40 years ago, Dad taught me how to read water and where to look for fish, started fly fishing 15 years ago, did a lot of river and small stream fishing on the trunk road , busted up the back in 2007 riding my horse and field trailing with my Brittany's, so now I most only fish still waters from my pontoon.

I tie them on a size 12 to 10 nymph hook.

Yes its a version of Jennings's Ultimate Boatman, its Aqua seal on the top and hard as nails on the bottom half, not a lot to it but works very well.

Here is a fly that I've had great success with either on a sink or floating line, they smash this fly most of the time so I upgrade my tippet.

Any suggestions on a 2 man still water boat? currently own a pontoon but with a bad back need to stand up and stretch, any body use Jon boats? are they good in rougher waters/

Have had for about 15 monthes, went down tiday to tie some flys and no lite, so bought new tubes at $49 and still no lite ?

Bought an Ottlite about a year and a half a go now is toast , not happy with the longevity of the lamp but liked the light for tying, any other suggestions any has had good luck with ?
