  1. We stay at Farragut State park. Love it. We will be there August 13-16.
  2. Salty piece of sand by Jimmy Buffett has some Bone fishing in it, a good read, more on the humor fiction side than outdoors but if you like Bubba the books area shoo-in. Not fly fishing but ENTIRLEY pro Bass tour and side splitting funny is Double Whammy by Carl Hiassen. (Most of his books have at least some fishing in them)
  3. Korkers do fit small. I wear a 11 1/2 shoe and I wear a 13 korker by the time I get my wader in them, The Boa system Draws up all of the loose feel in the boot, I wear them even when I am just hiking withthe Vibram soles, They are way light, dry quickly withthe Stainless mesh panels and give me good support, my only complaint is that the Boa laces area little ackward to attach to my gravel cuffs on the waders, the front clip on my GG has to be twisted to the side slightly because the lace guide is centered on the toungue... not a big deal but that is the ONLY issue I have had with mine.
  4. Yeah. he said it was VERY unsettling... much like his bowels for the rest of the hike
  5. Friend of mine walked up on a Grizzly this weekend in BNP. Walked around the corner and it was 40-50' downhill from him coming towards him. one Bear banger and the bear turned around and walked into the bush.
  6. I Throw lead weights, rocks, hammers and poles in a kilt, with the bagpipes in the background in the summer, Kayak as much as we can with the kids, exploring the old minesites and towns in the Kootnays with our kids. In the winter I can be found ice fishing most weekends.
