Michaels has Ottlite on sale sometimes. Don't have any other recommendations, my Ottlite has been excellent.

What is Loop's warranty like? Doesn't say much on the website other than "Lifetime warranty against material defects."

Any one have experience with Scott or Redington warranties? I am in the market for a new rod and maybe I should consider warranty turnaround time before I buy. I assume TFO is the fastest for Canadians? And especially for those who live in or near Calgary.

Is the BOA lace system on the new Korkers any good?

I tried the Marine Epoxy and it seems to have worked well. Went down to the Highwood yesterday and the boots stayed intact.

I was fishing on the weekend and the soles from both my boots fell off. Any experience with reattachign them? I was thinking about contact cement? They are Simms, not sure the exact model but they are entry level boots. Any chance one of the Simms dealers could help me out? The other option is to just get new boots. I believe Montana will be banning felt starting Oct 1, 2012 (can anyone confirm this?) so I was thiking about getting rubber soled boots anyway. Thanks.
