Whenever I encounter someone fishing in a spot I had hoped to fish, I have never been turned away by asking if I can slide in up or downstream of that person. The beauty about fishing the bow is that 99.9% of the fisherman on this river (at least the ones I have ran into) are more than happy to share the hole provided you keep a respectable distance between the two or in this case three of you. It makes my blood boil just to hear about your experience, good on ya for keeping your cool!! As for meeting people, Hell Yeah!! Why not?? Anyone I run into while walking the banks of the Bow has fishing in common with me and thats a hell of lot more than most people I meet. cheers all!!

Used to have the river guide by water skeeter, problem was at around 120 lbs, it was extemely hard to manuever with fins if you like to drift and fish. Traded it for a much cheaper Outcast Discovery weighing in around 65 lbs.... Huge difference, easy to manuever with force fins and only have to use the oars occasionally. Hope this helps
