Born and raised in beautiful but rainy Port Coquitlam (Poco or pocompton as some locals call it) BC just near the Coquitlam, Pitt and Fraser rivers. Spent many days fishing for trout and salmon in those and other nearby rivers. Got my first steelhead when I was about 7 or 8 and it was many years till I got my next one. Have fished in Argentina for various warmwater fish, in Belize for saltwater gamefish, Mexico for the same things and some pacific fishies, in Norway for a few hours, in the U.S, and A for many different targets, but there is never enough time for fishing.

Living in calgary since 2004 and really enjoy the local fishing especially the mountain stream... So far my favorite fish in the whole world is the cutthroat and I regret not targeting them in my old neighborhood now that I know there are some decent spots around the lowermainland.
