There are some big trout in a fish pond at Devonian Gardens in Calgary.

Monday was the first time I saw fish in that part of the Elbow. The river runs fast there, so not a lot of good holding water?

No problem, but the river seems to get higher later in the afternoon. You probably could carry your bike across the river.

Thanks to the gentleman that hiked in with me (he told me about this forum). Thanks for the advice - fishing with a dry fly/ bead head nymph landed me two big fish over 13". Could not catch the big trout later at the Elbow River near Cobble Flats. The river was higher later in the day than in the morning.
