1st one.
Sadly, the issue that I received of this print, was the second one.
The latest issue I received was Lakes... now I'm actually checking the mail!
-
-
I think the issue here is the $500 for reckless driving not the parking fine. Reckless driving fine should be way higher....

Am I the only one that thinks in order to be able to fish for them you should earn it with the hike in?
Yep

To get this thread back on track I suggest reading 1,000 barrels a second as well...
I think what I took from it the most was that with out "shocks" to the system things won't change.

I just want to say that I had the pleasure of getting out on a few of trips as a result of prior years auctions and they were all great. I got to meet some of the characters from the board, see some new water and have a blast while supporting an important cause.
ReelLife and I went on the cuttie trip with Taco who knows pretty much everything about the history of the hills south of Calgary and has a serious passion for our native species, the Central AB Brownie trip with fishpro who is a fishing fanatic and used almost every technique I know of and taught me some new ones (but could brush up on which fences are electrified and which aren't... ) and even hit up the Crowsnest with hawgstoppah who would probably out fish me blindfolded with his arms tied behind his back.
Seriously, all the trips were great, good people but let's not forget the even better cause this is for...
Does anyone know if any trips to some of Calgary's community lakes going to make the list this year? It would be a nice way to take the edge off during runoff...

Didn't the city decide recently that salt was a good idea and start using it on the roads?

Sweet pic's Drew and Lorne.

I'll wager he winds the Norris either next year or the year after.
I'll take some of that action. The only Norris Dion will win is the he awards himself. Yes, he is talented but he isn't even a Norris contender in my opinion.
So seriously, what do you want to wager?
I hope this also means we can cancel Cuthbert as the Stampede Parade Marshall...
Should We Stock Tiger Trout In Alberta?

I don't think that a good enough job is being done with what we already have so I voted no.
Once Alberta lakes overall are a stronger fishery I would support investigating other species.
Right now we seem to be headed in a better direction then in the past but that needs to be followed through on and fine tuned a little more before new initiatives are considered by fish and wildlife.
It is amazing to me how much they are already asked to do with so few resources. Maybe Tigers would be a good private pursuit for now...
