cdock Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 I'm going on a backcountry trip and we'll be staying at Lake Magog. I've read that there are cutthroat's in there. Anyone heard of this place or been there before? I'm looking for a few pointers before I head up. I'm going the last week of June. Wondering what gear I should take, fly patterns, etc. I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be a blast! Quote
badatt Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 From Magog it's a short hike to Sunburst and Cerulean Lakes. Both can be great for dries, there are some really big cutts in Cerulean. End of June is early for these high alt. lakes, BC license is req'd. Quote
KingSalmon Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 That's pretty sweet that you mention Lake Magog! My brother was just talking about it 2 nights ago lol . Be sure to let us know how it goes up there. Quote

Be sure to let us know how it goes up there. I'll for sure let you know. And as Zipper mentioned there are other lakes and streams in the area. I'll give an update in early July and let everyone know how it was. I'm sure I'll have pics. Quote
