jonny5 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Was out on a bike ride today in the closed section of highway 40... Looks like it might be good for opening day. All the creeks and rivers I saw (didn't get to the highwood) were running pretty clean, and it looks like most of the snow is gone around highwood pass. Might be worth a look on opening day if the good weather holds. On a related note, there were many signs of bear activity, so if you do head out, be aware. Later doods. Quote
fishguide76 Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 water down south just starting to pick up some snow melt with this hot weather visibility went from 4 feet to 18 inches over night hoping to hit some of the streams tuesday but looking not so good if this heat puts the melt into high gear Quote
cheeler Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 The Crow at Burmis was clear today, and the trout were hitting the stonefly nymphs. Quote
