CPs Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Country Pleasures 2009 Beginner Fly Fishing Schools 2009 will mark the twenty eighth year for Country Pleasures Fly Fishing Schools, the longest running school in Western Canada. Over the years we have taught thousands of people - both men and women - to fly fish and we are confident that nobody does it as well as Country Pleasures. This school is perfect for beginner fly fishers who wish to learn the basics of fly fishing. It's also a great gift idea for someone who's interested in getting into the sport. Classes are based on a one-day format, commencing at 8:30 am and finishing by approximately 4:30 pm. Enrollment is limited to sixteen students per session, with two instructors present at all Schools. All elements of the sport will be covered in the day (examples below). Come and join us for a proper introduction to this fascinating sport. We are confident that we can get you started properly in fly fishing. Tuition Cost: Tuition for the School is $125 (plus GST), payable at the time of registration. A confirmation letter will be forwarded to each student approximately two weeks prior to the School.Enrollment Dates 2009 Saturday May 2nd, Sunday May 3rd, Saturday May 23rd, Saturday June 6th, Sunday June 7th, Saturday July 18th, Sunday July 19th, Sunday July 26th, Saturday August 8th. Special note: Country Pleasures will provide all tackle and equipment for the students to use during the schools. In fact, we would sincerely recommend that students not buy tackle prior to taking the School because they will be much better educated consumers after the School.
