Can someone explain this to me?

Sheep River

- from headwaters downstream to the bridge at Indian Oils Day-use Site

June 16 to Oct 31 - Trout limit 0; Bait Ban.

Nov 1 to June 15 - Closed

- from headwaters downstream to Gorge Creek & tributaries, (except Gorge Creek), – CLOSED

- from Gorge Creek downstream to Highwood River – River only

- June 16 to Aug. 31 – Trout limit 2; Cutthroat and Rainbow over 35 cm; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Maggots are the only bait allowed and only after Aug. 15.

- Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 – Trout limit 0; Mountain Whitefish limit 5 over 30 cm; Maggots are the only bait allowed.

- Nov. 1 to June 15 – CLOSED

So.. from the headwaters to the bridge at Indian Oils is only open from June 16 - October 31... but, from the headwaters to gorge creek is closed year round?

Why does it say "from headwaters to.." twice? I'm confused..

Okay, I called the High River F&W office and they said it must be a printing error. I copied and pasted from what it says online.. but the lady I talked to was looking in the actual magazine.. hers says "from headwaters downstream to the Indian Oils day use site" and then "from the Indian Oils day use site downstream to Gorge Creek."

I'll fire an email off to let them know that the online version is incorrect..

It looks like an error (obviously).

That's something to bring up with the local F&W office.

Let us know what they say.

Cheers

Okay, so the ball is rolling already. They thanked me for making them aware of it and they're going to look into getting the online version corrected.
