jsteele7 Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 I'm heading down to okotoks for may long weekend and I'm trying to organize a fly fishing trip that weekend for my brother in law and myself. I don't know the area too well and was wondering is there are any rivers or streams open that early within an hours drive. Any advice would be appreciated. Quote

Guest bigbadbrent Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 anywhere south of the 17th ave weir on the bow is fishing just fine. Biggest concern is weather or not the construction at glenmore trail is gonna start putting more sediment.. That time of the year it can also rain and blow out the bow by putting in mud from construction, fish creek, highwood river...you'll be fine though Quote
