Guest Sundancefisher Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I have Spybot and AVG...is there any better ones out there? My kids are driving me crazy surfing now. Thanks for any tips! Cheers Sun Quote
birchy Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 In my experience you should be able to clean almost anything with Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Advanced Windows Care. If you have Shaw Internet, I recommend downloading and installing their "Shaw Secure" program which is based on the F-Secure software. It's a complete anti-virus/spyware/firewall package that is included in the cost of your High Speed Internet account. Quote

Looks great for keeping the rug rats off the "bad" websites! Quote
birchy Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I've been running it for quite awhile now and have had no issues that I can think of. Quote
Brownstone Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 hint: find product you want .. learn how to find & download it Quote
dryfly Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 As Birchy noted, Shaw Secure is very good. F-Secure is based out of Scandihoovia and was one of the world's first "virus" protection companies. Norton and McAfee should be flogged in public. Quote
