westwillie Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Will be in the Banff/Calgary area end of June/first week of July. Should spring runoff be over by this time period on a year like this one? Will smaller waters (St Marys) be better at this time. Looking for guide recommendations in the east BC/west Alberta area swinging or dries....no bobbers please. Quote
Dangus Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Just depends on rain. Usually starts to come back in to form around the last week of June. Although, as mentioned in another thread, it looks like some of the snowpacks are dropping quick and may be 1-2 weeks faster than last year. If I doesn’t rain all June, I don’t see why we’re not fishin the bow by the 20th...maybe sooner. Quote
WyomingGeorge Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Cam Jensen down in the Pincher/Lethbridge area. He fishes dries whenever humanly possible and he pioneered the river that you mention (but should never say out loud in public). Quote
