Is there any pattern to the colour coming off throughout the year? (Other than October caddis)

I am still figuring this out. I find early (Mother's Day) are black/dark. Otherwise, there seems a few different species for the rest of the year.

Hmm...the caddis I found around Mother's Day this year were large and again, tan. I did hear findings like yours from other guys around that time, though.

 

How often do you guys run into green or yellow?
