High River Tu Chapter Help

I have been sent this email in regards to the High River TU chapter, which has not been active the past few years. There was some good interest and quite a few active members. But the problem with many non profit organizations they now need some one to step up the the plate and take a leadership roll or the chapter will close. "Important notice regarding the future of the High River TUC Chapter

 

After a good start and a couple of fundraising dinners the HR TUC chapter has been inactive for the past several years (I seem to be good at starting up but not so good at maintaining momentum).

 

In order for High River to remain a viable Trout Unlimited Canada chapter new leadership is required. Without new leadership there will be no option but to fold the HR chapter. I am requesting that anyone interested in taking on the leadership role of the chapter to please contact me.

 

A deadline of Saturday Oct. 13/07 has been set for persons to contact me expressing their interest in leading the chapter. Without a new leader coming forward by this date, the chapter will fold and all current bank funds will be dispersed to various TUC chapters and TUC endorsed/supported programs.

 

I encourage you to consider taking on this leadership role.
