Toirtis
A new favourite place to buy some colours/sizes of beads that I could not find locally: www.fusionbeads.com ...really reasonably priced, as the Toho silver-lined beads that I wanted were $4.50 for 8 grams at Michaels (they had sizes 6 & 11, but not 8), but $1.67 for 10 grams on fusionbeads, and shipping on three 10 gram bags was only $2.99. I like Beads and Plenty More in Northland Village Shops for beads, too.
Guest 420FLYFISHIN
i found "beads and plenty" had much better prices and selection than Michaels but i think you can get the same wire gauge/colores from Michaels as UltraWire for a way better price
mrmomar
Beadles on 17th ave + 6 St SW, across from the park. You can also see first hand where all the hackle has gone. Feathers a plenty for outrageous prices. The beads are well priced, huge selection and they also sell thin gauge braided steel wire for articulated flies. ghus32
Hi guys Do you guys use these beads for your regular flies(copper johns pheasant tail etc..) if so what would be the size close to 3/32 for size 14-16 nymphs Thanks A new favourite place to buy some colours/sizes of beads that I could not find locally: www.fusionbeads.com ...really reasonably priced, as the Toho silver-lined beads that I wanted were $4.50 for 8 grams at Michaels (they had sizes 6 & 11, but not 8), but $1.67 for 10 grams on fusionbeads, and shipping on three 10 gram bags was only $2.99. Toirtis
Hi guys Do you guys use these beads for your regular flies(copper johns pheasant tail etc..) if so what would be the size close to 3/32 for size 14-16 nymphs Thanks Not for those patterns, but for lots of others that call for glass beads. For brass/copper/silver beads, I usually hit one of the local shops or this guy: http://www.canadianllama.com/
Guest 420FLYFISHIN
for the smaller flies i like to use the #8 from "beads and plenty" but for the streamers i go with the 6/0.
