gottalovecutts Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I dont know how many of you read the article by April Vokey in the new Fly Fusion, but it leaves me feeling restless and a wee bit sick in the gut. Oil and gas exploration by means of fracturing seems far too risky in such a delicate and irreplacable ecosystem. From the standpoint of angler, It saddens me that the almost certain devestation of a fishery is looming on the horizon. I have not set eyes on the Skeena, but I know it is a mecca of sorts for anglers just like me. I just want to bring it to attention in the name of my homewaters. Humans can take something that took millions of years to develop and destroy it in a fraction of the time. Make some noise people, maybe we can avert a tragedy..... Quote
