Birddog Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 Was at upper K lake with dad yesterday, very slow fishing, we were by the falls when a Moose came out of no where came down to shore between 6 other fisherman, swam towards my father and I and went up on shore and into the woods, pretty freaky as I didnt know what it was up to. SteveM Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 I was out there on Saturday with the family. We fished a bit, and it was super slow. Best part of the day: saw a momma grizzly with 3 cubs beside the highway. The cubs were very entertaining as they climbed way up in the trees, back down & up again. So cute! treeplanter Posted July 19, 2011 Share Posted July 19, 2011 Spotted these twins a little ways up the Smith-Dorrian road. Seems that mom is keeping her family around the Mt. Engadine lodge at night and then moving them up into the old cut-blocks below Rummel lk. in the day. Maybe a good shutterbug could head up there and take a quality pic.
