Elbow At Redwood Meadows

I live in Redwood Meadows and have just taken up the fly rod. Ive been out on my own south of the brigde on the 22 with no luck yet. Is this a good area to fish? Any advice?

I have experienced some good fishing on the elbow lately also, but it does seem to be hit and miss. Don't give up!!!

thanks. i was out today fishing downstream from the bridge on highway 8. saw one 14 inch brown. Will keep working the stretch until i get the knack.

I used to fish in Redwood a few years ago, if the log jams are still around the water treatment plant/tennis courts they can offer up some brookies. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of other spots in that area, great place to live!
