FishTales Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Fish Tales is opening for extended hours on Friday and Sunday during the Western Canadian Fly Fishing Exposition this weekend. The shop hours during the show are: Friday, January 28 - 9 a.m. - 9 p.m Saturday, January 29 - 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (regular hours) Sunday, January 30 - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. If you're headed to the show: Norm Norlander's in the Fish Tales booth when he's not in the tying demonstration theater. Stop by to get some hints on rotary tying techniques. Terry Johnson's talking about flats fishing in Cuba in the presentation theater on Friday from 3:45 - 4:45 Aaron Caldwell's doing a saltwater tying workshop - Grand Slam Tying - on Saturday from 2:30-4:30 (pre-register) David Blair & Terry Johnson are providing 15-minute free casting sessions for kids throughout the weekend (pre-register.) In-booth rod-building technique demonstrations throughout the weekend. In-booth tying demonstrations throughout the weekend. We have clearout sale prices on discontinued Korkers boots, Dan Bailey and Redington Waders, and rods from Sage, GLoomis, and TFO. Prices are the same at the shop and the show. Our primary goal at the show is to "show off the new stuff." There's lots of new fly tying products from Enrico Puglisi, Hareline, Montana Fly Company, Gamakatsu Hooks, new Tubeology tube fly system, and more. We'll also have a selection of new books and DVDs including "Skagit Master 2" and "Off the Grid."
