BCKyle Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Hi guys, I've asked the same question on my local BC board with little results and it was suggested I ask you fine folks. Hopefully you can help me out. This year my dad and I decided to incorporate the Bow into our plans for our usual Kootenay trip. We were going to take the Cowboy Trail to Calgary and was wondering if there is anything along the way, fishing or not that we should see. The Oldman River is the only thing on the list so far. I was also told the Highwood would be a nice stop as well. Quote
regdunlop Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 The Oldman right at the 22 bridge is good. And the highwood has been getting lots of threads on this forum. Do a search and you will find lots of info. I would say head into the forest reserve but it is closed right now due to fire danger. Lots of rain today, if we are lucky it will open up again soon. Keep checking before your trip. Tight lines. Quote
