Birddog Posted August 10, 2010 Author Share Posted August 10, 2010 Ididnt have a chance to measure him as I wanted him to get back to the water as it was a pretty long fight, his gill plate seemed normal as he swam away.I think its just the way Im holding the fish in the net. Back in the day, dudes would go to the river with a hook and worm, catch a stringer full of small cutts, then toss the stringer into the river. There are a few Bulls in that certain water that have underdeveloped Gill plates along with missing pec fins....It happened in the hatchery, with a slight miscalculation of chemicals...I have a couple pics to share, I posted some a couple years back...Nice Bully Btw...
