Very interested to start guiding on the Bow River:

Looking for a mentor or outfitter that may want to take on a new guide, when in need of an extra boat.

Born and raised in Calgary. 46 years old. Fished the bow since I was a kid. Been drifting the Bow for 10 years. Started in a N.R.S. Drift Raft.

Now run a 54 X 16 WILLIE BOAT. Accomplished Fly Castor and Fly Tier, all self taught.

not to be a smartalec, but those boat dimensions... 16 x 54? is that correct? I've never seen anything this big on the bow. Must be armed with guns to take out those jetboaters LOL

I was kind of curious too. Checked out there web page and I gotta say, I like the flame paint job option. It would suit my angriness.

Yeah, see your point, hows 54x16 lol. The boat's 3rd season on the Bow. Fly Fisher Model. I've encountered the big white jet boat to close.

I would recommend going around and talking to some store owners. I'm sure if you go directly into the shops and talk to people you'd find some work, and a good way into guiding.
