Fish Tales has some great free events this week we would like to share with everyone. Our first one is this Thursday, January 17 starting at 7:00 PM. Come by the shop after hours to check out Tales and Tying. Simply bring your vice and materials. This is a great opportunity to to tie with other anglers, share stories and learn new flies! Or, at the very least, its an opportunity to get out of the house and possibly even avoid some chores! Also, this Sunday, January 20, is our second free Sunday Seminar of 2013. Join Doug McLean for this session dedicated to tying flies with Enrico Puglisi (EP) tying materials. EP synthetics fibers have grown in popularity in the past few years but can be a bit tricky to work with – especially initially. Doug has been using EP materials for several seasons and proven their effectiveness on numerous fishing excursions – close to home and abroad. Join him as he demonstrates some of his favorite techniques and patterns tied with these effective materials. Our Sunday Seminar Sessions start at 1:00, but first ones in the door get the chairs!
