Hello folks. It's been years. Hope you are all well and happy. I've had little to say lately because we have not fished in Canada for a few years. But I recall that some very talented tyers here had some ideas on butterflies. So here is my latest, inspired by Ronn Lucas Sr.'s article in a 2002 issue of Fly Tyer.
It is made with peacock pheasant in the upper wing, peacock eye fibers in the lower wing and horns, and parts of the pp feather were pulled forward for antennae. It's a crazy mixed up kid I call
"Bloody Viking," after a local sports team I love to hate and also a Monty Python reference.
