Is A 7Wt Switch Rod Good Enough?

A 7 weight switch should work. However I think a single hand 9 weight would probably be better. Most of the rivers are pretty small with a few exceptions. -
Sounds like you've got a good set up. Make sure to bring a back up, even if its an 8 or 9 weight single hander.
