It's actually both. I was on a really big bull trout kick this year and luckily got into some nice bull areas. Probably caught over 50 this summer at various locations and even caught one over 15 pounds. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera for proof. Felt kind of bad catching one that big on a 5wt, but he happily swam away after I released him.
