I was waiting for LoyalEddie to post some pics of the Streamwatch cake he bid on and won in the auction.
After many attempts to set a date to deliver the cake we managed to work out a day and what kind of cake he wanted.
So Loyal being the smart ass he is tried to get me with a tough cake to bake a German Chocolate Cake. Well he really should try harder as I knocked it out from scratch and it kicked ass.
Thanks again to Loyaleddie for donating to such a good cause.

I found a place....
The only problem i see with parking the trailer down by the Liv and letting you stay there is, all the recreational crack that most of you seem to consume on this board...i don't need the additional attention....

I am desperately seeking trailer storage, for a 27 foot pull type trailer. It need not be around Calgary (a couple hours drive is O.K.), but it has to be cheep. Please forward any info.

If you have bought the whole package...you and i could have done it for a case of beer (including wireing)...most kits are predrilled...and with a little WD-40 and the right size drill bit you can do it your self....

Some of the best logo's are very simple i.e. Nike swoosh, VW, Macdonalds' golden arches, the Olympic Rings, Mercedes 3-pointed star, and of course the Playboy bunny. If you're looking at changing the logo, I'd suggest that it be clean and simple...also I'd imagine that it's a hell of a lot easier to embroider something like a Nike swoosh on a hat than that Max logo.

I got back from my Bro's stag in Vegas...Stay on the strip...if you fly on a Sat or mid week you will save a pile of cash...Oh yeah bring cash, and lots of it....Oh if you go..get to freemont steet... The whacked out crack whores are worth the price of admition...never laughed so hard in my life..

RE: Tax receipts
.A purchaser can request a tax receipt if it can be shown that the price paid was above the market value. Normally a buyer cannot get a receipt of they get goods in return. If you buy a $200 item for $1000 you should be able to claim $800 as a donation.

How does that work?
How does one get a tax deduction if they donate time, or an object (ie guided fishing trip)?

You should NEVER speed through a playground zone...
What the hell is wrong with people....a playground speed limit is set for a reason...and may I remind people why,it's a playground.... THERE ARE KIDS THERE...AND KIDS DON'T ALWAYS LOOK FOR TRAFFIC....
I have been passed at least five times doing the speed limit in a playground zone (and it was two lane traffic, no passing) (one dude found a ball pien hammer through his windshield the next morning after that stunt)

Corporations, fly shops, general public, most everyone is a bit afraid of spending money right now. Every auction I have been involved in recently has had massive problems raising money. Charity golf tournaments are having major problems as well.
When businesses are afraid to spend, it is up to user groups to do what they can to take up the slack. That is what is happening here. Based on other fund raising activities I have been involved in recently, this is doing excellent. We should focus on that instead of worrying about who isn't involved.
Keep it positive boys!
