Yes, every May long weekend we camp at a small stocked pond. I get the boys in the boat and let them fish, some times I can't even get a line in they are pulling them in so fast. Nothing better than getting on the water with my boys.

I've been going through photo bucket seems to work good for me and you can resize them to fit the parameters of the forum quite easily. to post go to the more reply options tab in the bottom right corner of the reply box you can search your hard drive from there to find your pictures and attach them to the post. hope this helps.

size 12-20 dry fly hook
thread olive
body caddis green ice dub
hackle dun palmered over body
underwing olive Cdc
wing Elk or deer body hair
hackle brown .
I fish this fly in a variety of colors and sizes but the green is by far the best producer
another variant of his fly adds two or three caddis green glass beads to the body with ice dub wrapped between beads.
on small creeks to bigger rivers it is an absolute killer fly floats well and drives fish nuts. enjoy.

bow river buggers , sculpin patterns, slump busters, and of course wooly buggers all have a place in my box. Usually fished on a sink tip or weighted leader swung through fishy areas has been the key for me. From a boat cast close to the shoreline and strip back to the boat hang on and use a heavy tippet the strikes tend to be very aggressive. As a streamer set up go with a 6-7 wt rod to handle chucking some meat. weight forward lines and sink tips. Fish skulls sculpin heads are great as they ride hook up so you don't snag as often and are easy to tie.

you should be tight enough to push the tube in aprox 1 inch with your thumb when fully inflated but you do need to adjust if you get out of the water on a hot day as the air will expand in the hot sun. I generally release the air out for the count of 5-8 when i'm done for the day or going to be leaving my boat out of the water for a couple of hours. I do this always since having a thwart blow out on a raft a few years ago.

its just so darn comfortable and looking at some of the fish caught while wearing it obviously brings luck. Guess which shirt I'm wearing to Montana in April.
