  1. Junior's correct, Mr. Chan has some really good idea's and this was definitely a good idea. This dubbing would work great for this tie.

Have you tried it using Stillwater Solutions Sparkle Blend? Dubs way easier, and Brian Chan put a lot of work developing that dubbing blend specifically for that fly.
  2. Yup, Boston was definitely the better team last night, and Boston Fans were much more civilized than those Vancouver citizens. Such a childish act. I can not for the life of me understand what they hoped to achieve by rioting after the game. It does not allow Vancouver to win over anymore fans that's for sure. There is cheering for your team but this was just plain idiotic behavior.

  3. When the souls or felt starts to come apart put this stuff on it: (Elmer's P9406 Ultimate High Performance Glue 2-Ounce)

and let it set over night checking it periodically to remove, and clean up the excess, and away you go better than new. Mine started doing just as the pictures above show, and I ripped them off and applied this stuff to them and they are perfect now. And, it most likely will never come apart again.

I did this to my SIMS boots and put on metal screws for the Ice in the winter after it was dry, and have had these boot for four years now with no issues.

  4. That sucks! I hope your Condo Storm Drains have a catch basin installed so that the City can at least catch most of it and track it back to the outfit that caused it.

Is it a newer condo? If so the City should have this installed to monitor the drains.

I come home today and pull into my parking lot to see the manlifts a siding company is using left a giant trail of hydraulic fluid from one end to another. they then used some absorbent or kitty litter to soak it up which only did a half ass job. I complain to the condo board and recieve a response of its not like it was a dangerous chemical or anything its only hydraulic oil. and that they were going to clean it up. well clean up consisted of someone going around with a shovel picking up a little bit of it leaving the majority of it. cant wait for the next rain storm when it all drains in to our rivers.
  5. As usual Thomas was standing on his head, but that is not something that he could keep up for three periods of Canadian Hockey. What a game!

The chances on both ends of the ice all night, really fantastic goal tending, and, in the end Vancouver pulls it out of their ass. And Luo gets ANOTHER shut out!

Now, can they figure out their game in Boston and take the cup, or is Vancouver going to take another night off and then bring it back to Vancouver to win it there in front of all of there LOUD SCREAMING FANS!!!

    GO NUCKS GO!

  6. So, I did the finishing touches on the bench...Check out the results on my "Member Profile"

The Natural Stain look turned out pretty good if I do say so...check out the Blog.

Well, with all this rain I decided to make up another Fly Tying Bench...check out my Blog in my "Member Profile" to have a look.
  7. It measures 28" X 18" on the base everything took the 1/2 " Round-over bit on the router. All corners are Mitred

Very nice...just what I am hoping to do...can you provide some details on measurements, and what you used to make some of the routered bits, etc (I am no woodworker, so this sort of thing is not so obvious to me)?
