With everywhere so tinder dry, letting it burn might not be the right decision for this time..

Nowadays, if it's not welded or bolted to the truck, it will probably get stolen. Glad you got it all back and kudos to the fellow that called..

I took a look at the Aurora site at the Edmonton International Airport yesterday. The size of the footprint they have started is truly massive. That is going to be one big greenhouse.
If there is ever a fire everyone in Leduc with be wrecked..

After Brian Jean's comments on OHV use, I would take anything from Wild Rose with the proverbial grain of salt..

They tried to stock the N. Saskatchewan upstream of Devon with browns years ago. As far as I know they never really flourished..

The resistance to any changes is strong and well financed. They are throwing up some sizable road blocks..

Love my Hardy Angels, have collected the whole series over the last dozen years. Hard tracking down the UK built ones. Have a pretty quiet drag, visual difference between UK & Korean ones is the chain mail wrapped handles on originals. Finish isn't as nice on the new ones. Ringtone on my iPhone is a Perfect screeching out its drag. It is loud !
Haha, I have the same ringtone..

St. Georges are my idea of what a fly reel should look like..

So are only the high end Hardy reels made in Alnwick?
Yes, but I believe they brought some of the production back from Korea eg: Bougles. To be honest, functionally I can't tell the difference- a CNC machine is the same whether in the UK or Korea..

They didn't show how they put in that obnoxious sound though
It's like that so:
1) everybody knows you have a Hardy and obviously impeccable taste
2) you have a fish on..

It looks like a combo bamboo rod kit that came out of Japan after WW2. The quality was not that great and they don't bring a very high value on the resale market. They used to go for under $100 on Ebay..

Well, like others of course I'm sympathetic and very concerned about this.
But are you serious Don? We're simply going to ban boat traffic and anglers from Montana? And what about vice versa; Albertans going to Montana? You have some thoughts on how to work that out, logistically speaking?
Actually it could be mandatory equipment disinfecting like Iceland and New Zealand..

Actually the Canadian economy is also a one trick pony, heavily dependent on oil..

This is sounding like another case of total mismanagement of our fisheries..

Does rotenone kill the parasite or just the fish it is infecting and the parasite lives on in the mud and continues to spread? I would like to know if this is a viable solution or a knee jerk reaction. As for how far it has spread I guess that would depend on how migratory the fish are..

I just wish the money would go directly to fisheries and not General Revenue.
