  1. Here is a little what you can expect:

Fishing on the Snake River, salmon fishing in Alaska, trout in Patagonia, saltwater species in Ascension Bay, steelhead fishing in BC, steelhead fishing in Ohio, redfish in South Carolina, permit in Australia, Montana trout and carp, and various species in the Everglades including reds, tarpon, and snook

...in all close to 2 hours of world class angling footage from some of the best videographers in the business

  2. Agree with ya Dr.BT. He knows his stuff and has an incredible ability to TEACH it. He had a full day of private lessons with both single and double handers and everyone that took them walked away happy. The best 60.00 you can spend on fishing may be a 1 hour private casting lesson with Brian.

i would highly recommend brian's lessons...he's just that damn good...had the privilege of casting with him at the CWFFC conlave this weekend and if he can convince me (a stubborn ass single hander) to get set up with a switch rod and join the dark side, he must be doing something right...

  3. I have imported drift boats and trailers in the past. I have had major problems with 2 of them (one a new trailer). The trailer was the big issue as the VIN's have to jive with records. One of them was a new Hyde and after I found that the VIN on the trailer didn't match any records had to go through a huge process to get things fixed so I could register it here. Getting across the border isn't an issue but registering it here is. Hyde said they have had the problems come up a few times and the Registry office knew Hyde immediately when I called the complaint/issues number. Hyde was great to deal with and helped in getting a new VIN but it was a pain is ass to deal with all the extra paperwork.

I suggest getting the VIN from them and calling the Canadian Registries to verify that it is valid before venturing north. Or have them do it. Hyde should also have all the paperwork and they can have it filled out for you. Make sure that the VIN they write on the form is exactly the same as the sticker says. If the VIN's are the same and Canadian Registries says it is a valid number all it will take is opening your wallet at the border to get it back.

    Good Luck

  4. Headhunter...

It looks like I'll be in Vancouver next week, so I'll miss the B&F.

But I will take you up on the offer later :P

Then I'll buy the next round.

Did the students like the green drinks idea?

That's too bad Harps...it was a one time offer but you can still buy me one!

But...when I get to the unit on Water, Oceans, and Fisheries in my Env. Issues Classes it may be worth multiple Dark Irish Social Lubricants if you could represent DOF and come and enlighten a bunch of young eagar minds about the current state of the these resources for which you are educated and work daily in.

Have fun in Van, I have your CDC, and see ya next Beer and Flies or Green Drinks
