  1. Just remeber its still early in the season, I belive calgary had a fantasic start last year and look at what happened at the end of the season, we shall see by the mid point in the season

Absolutely. I am interested to see what happens when Bulin starts playing anything but amazing and the team faces some adversity. For the most part though I am really impressed with the consistent play from most of the young guys, and it's been really fun watching this year.

  2. I could use some help choosing a new BBQ.  I have narrowed it down to two models

    1. Weber Genesis 330.  http://www.barbecuesgalore.ca/cooking.bpsx?CookingID=137

    2 Napoleon p450rsib.  http://www.barbecuesgalore.ca/cooking.bpsx?CookingID=138

Any info on these two models would be great, I am interested in both pro's and con's

    Thanks Wayne

I love my genesis. Weber makes some solid bbqs.

  3. Been tying some 'intruder inspired' streamers. Using marabou and a regular streamer shank. Used olive buck tail (hard to flare) and it really comes through when wet. I like the movement and profile when wet.... and it's been working!

  4. I had this problem to and still wanted to use plano style boxes. I just epoxied my dividers in on the bottom. Worked like a charm. I also found if my box ended up sideways they could go over the top. I cut a sheet of dollar store foam and glued it to the top lid. It does take some work but I am happy with the result

  5. I love Wild Rose Brewery, and a friend of mine is their Brewmaster. You don't like ANY of their beers? I find that surprising!

I've picked up there sampler pack a few times and definitely enjoyed it. I wana try there Wred wheat ale still.

Staying on topic, I never knew this place existed but will be checking it out soon i hope

  6. So Iggy is willing to waive his no-trade clause. Hmmmm, interesting -- that's usually the first sign that a player wants out -- just ask Sheldon Souray. Actually, although I'm not a Flames fan, which perhaps gives me a better perspective, I think trading Iginla would be a good move, both for him, and for the team. He's a great player, but he can't do it alone, and the Flames need to do a major rebuild, not tinker. Lose some salary and get some young players. Terry

I wouldn't take this as a sign at all (I am also not a flames fan). By the sounds of it he was beeing badgered and asked this question in every way possible. Many players would have probably lost there cool and/or ended the interview but iggy is a class act and gave his honest answer. He basically said he wants to stay but if he is told that he is not wanted then he would look at it. Any allstar would wave a no trade clause if they were told they weren't wanted.

  7. Thanks for the info guys.

Ya it is a 6000W. I didn't get the model number... wish I had. The info i took down was the wattage and the brand 'Gaint' - suits the size of it.

Would the capacity play a large role in the power requirments as well? Or as long as it was staying mainly full that might not effect it as much? Like wuld keeping 73 gal at a certain temp be fairly close to the power requirments for keeping 43 gal warm..... Getting into thermodynamics now.

  8. if you're gonna save yourself 10 bucks a month on heating water at the cost of replacing the unit, how many months will it take you to recover the 1500 it will cost you for a new hot water tank?

Ya thats kinda what i am asking about. If it is less eficient is it a large diff? One thing with it being a large volume is the heat can be turned down. I read 60 C is as low as you should go to aviod bacteria biuld up

  9. So I just closed on my first house. The one thing that bothers me about it is the 74 gal electric water heater. I have been told electric will cost way more to heat than a gas unit, not to mention the massive size of this heater. Does anyone have experience with these? Should I try it out or plan to change it ASAP?

Also, anyone looking for a large electric water heater? :D

  10. This is the first year I am tying all my dries. I have a half brown/grizzly cape which has been used for for EHC, stimmies, gnats. This cape has been great but i am now looking to tie some BWO, PMD, Green Drakes and I'm wondering if I'm looking to deep into hackle colors and I could get away with using this cape for most of these?

It seems like Blue Dun is a very versatile color. Should this be next on my list?
