those will work,

 

if you go to smaller diameter legs, they'll move more with the smaller length, then the bigger diameter ones

Nice flies! I tied up a bunch of rubber legged copper johns as well, very similar design, but I used pheasant tail for the tail because I got tired of fiddling around with the biot(ch).

 

Is there a recommended length for the legs? Mine are a little longer than those right now. I should also get some smaller diameter legs like Brent mentioned.

Great lookin bugs. Havin a little trouble tieing in the legs, do you attach one leg per side one at a time or tie both at the same time. Haven't been able to find a tutorial, guess i'll have to buy the book.

I tie them in one at a time. Lay down two wraps of thread over the dubbing then tie in each leg one at time. Dub over the leg tie in point and then dub forward to the bead.
