wayne Posted August 10, 2018 Share Posted August 10, 2018 I'm looking to replace the line on my 9' 5wt x-axis and a shop recommended going with a 6wt Wf hardy horizon line. Does anyone have any experience with this line? Personally I've never heard of it but he swears by it. Taco Posted August 10, 2018 Share Posted August 10, 2018 About 5 yrs ago I picked up on clearance a DT Hardy Marksman 4wt line that I fish and abuse a lot. I finally reversed it on the reel last yr and don't expect I'll need to replace the line until 2020. It might be the best line in the world for the casting style of the shop guy but you might not care so much for it. Remember one man's gold is another man's garbage.
