Not looking for a net releaser itself, just the magnet so I could possibly make my own. Google let me down on this one so I'm reaching out to the pros here. Thanks in advance. Flyfisher Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 I use a small carabiner. It's attached to the end of my net handle and hooks onto a ring just below the collar on the back of my vest. I got excited landing a nice size fish this year and ended up hot footing it downstream to retrieve my net. Been on the magnet/ bungy cord system since. Pride in craftsmanship. Just for the experience of it. To make it the way you want. The list goes on.
