stoby1 Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 I've been tying flies a couple of years now and can do a reasonable job of the standards i.e. pheasant tail, prince, paraduns, klinks, woolies etc. I now have a huge supply of these patterns. I think I'm ready to try something a bit more challenging. Does anyone have a couple of suggestions, preferably useful on the Bow. They're a ton of fun to tie and once you use foam on one thing, you'll be trying it on others as well. Works like a damn on the Bow too. Cheers. murray Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 For nymphs, try some of the stonefly patterns, black brown and yellow. Prince nymph is good also as well as Evil Weevil.
