Tying Travel Bag

I bought a used Simms hip bag for $40 on the forum and haven't looked back since. It stores a nymph box streamer box all my tipper hangs and the dries go in their own boxes in the front pocket. I put a large split ring through the shoulder strap at the right position for my mag release net to hang from. Very compact and carries often more than needed. simms headwaters sling pack, I have an older one but wouldn't change it

A 'found' pelican case now holds almost everything for travel. Packed pretty tight but room for all but my entire array of hooks and tools. So I now pack hooks just for what I anticipate tying.

I've also used an old multi tray tackle box but I've pared down on the 'required' tools.

Have used a purpose made pack-cloth travel tying case I've had for close to 30 years.

I have a Fispond Fly Tying bag. Lots of see-through windowed pouches, tools pouch tubes for thread spools, Hook box, vise storage area etc. I have it loaded for travel for an extended fishing trip or fly tying demonstration. I used an old Hardy bag but this is built for tying and is so much nicer. Its loaded but a very handy size. There are a few companies that offer these type of bags.

Fishpond bag looks awesome, but not sure I can justify another purchase at the moment, else I might be needin Über's basement suite. I might have to settle on the Renzetti case for my vice and a rubbermaid for material.
