What would be a better spey rod for fishing steelhead ? 7wt. or 8 wt.

Want to use it for steelhead/ salmon in BC. Never used one before, so I have no idea what to look for or compare it to....

Looking for 8 wt, spey..

I love it when the spray from the jet boat, hits me in the face and cools me down on a hot day. I love the noise on a quiet morning,the high waves that mud up the river, and I love to watch all the wildlife run down to the bank to watch the boats go by.

Does anybody really know, if jet boats are allowed within the Calgary City limits? Is there an actual bylaw? Have never seen a jet boat,jet ski or motor boat within the city limits.

Thank goodness or Golf! it keeps them off the rivers!
