I have had a champion 2000W inventer/generator I bought from Costco 2 years ago. No problems so far. I am sure it is not as quiet as a Honda gen but I random camp and the noise factor is not a problem that it might be in a campground with a neighbour 10 feet away. All in all the generator is fairly quiet and I use it mainly to charge my batteries full to keep my furnace going on the cooler nights. The 2000w does not have enough power to run my microwave or my air conditioning but is great for charging batteries and running my toaster at breakfast. At $500 cost it is only about a third the cost of a Honda which would make half the noise but still would not run my air conditioner. Thinking of getting a second champion 2000W if I can hook it up in tandom to supply enough power to run my microwave and/or power my air conditioner on the few summer days I need it.

I have also caught browns above the falls in the last 3 years. I got 2 one day and 1 the year before. Got one about 14 inches. I was very surprised at the time as I heard that there were no browns above the falls.

How long was the hike in? Looks like a beautiful spot.

I caught my first 10 inch brown just a ways down from the hillcrest bridge about 3 weeks ago.

My wife and I are heading to Whiteswan Lake on Sunday for a few days. If at all possible we plan on fishing Premier Lake and Whitetail also. My problem is I do not normally flyfish lakes and I am looking for any advice people on the board could provide me with regarding fly selection and more importantly fishing techniques that might work on these lakes. We will be fishing from our pontoon boats. Any advice would be appreciated.
